The Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth (TLBR) League is hosting its first Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth Alumni Softball Games Fundraiser and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at Tom Brown Park.
The event will raise funds to assist local 13-15 year-old Babe Ruth baseball players and recognize the 62-year-old league’s inaugural Hall of Fame inductees in coaches Paul Mauck Sr. and Richard Jackson and players Reggie Jefferson, Dean Palmer, John Wasdin and David Ross.

If you have played for TLBR since its inception in 1954, you are invited to play in the alumni game. Please use the registration link on the home page www.tallahasseebaberuth.org to sign up.
The Alumni Games will start at 10 a.m. The games will be followed by lunch and the inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will recognize and celebrate the remarkable talent that come through the program, at 1 p.m. Also, there will be a home run derby (more information on the home run derby will be forthcoming).
The registration fee is $30, which includes lunch and a game T-shirt. You can also purchase additional lunch tickets during on-line registration for family and/or friends: $8 for adults, $5 for children.
Payment can be made with a credit card through that link, or you can send a check to the address provided during registration. If you are not a Babe Ruth alumnus, but wish to attend the events, you are welcome. The event is free to attend, and lunch tickets will be available onsite for cash purchase.
